AND, it's time to sign up for sock of the month. This year the focus is on technique, and while you we'd like you to buy the yarn we use, you can bring another yarn you purchased from A Good Yarn previously. September club meets Thursday the 10th and Saturday the 12th to learn how to bead socks using a crochet hook. Spaces are filling up fast so call right away for more info or go to the web site www.agoodyarn.org You need know how to make socks already and double points, 2 circulars, or magic loop are all acceptable.

P.S. In case you haven't heard, Carma Koester has agreed to teach beginning spinning at A Good Yarn. We're so excited! Her first class will meet Thursday, 9/17, from 1-3:00. Class fee is $85 for 4 sessions meeting 9/17, 9/24, 10/1, and 10/15. Your fee includes all materials and the use of a wheel for the 5 week time frame. Come on in and learn how gorgeous yarn is spun!
